He is primarily responsible for Insurance portfolio management. Prior to joining Oppenheimer Investment Management, Mr. Saf was a Vice President and Portfolio Manager at 40|86 Advisors, Inc. He served as a co-portfolio manager for the Conseco insurance portfolios and primary manager for the non-affiliated insurance clients as well as performing and overseeing Asset Liability Management (ALM). He holds a B.S.B.A. from Drake University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst, a Certified Public Accountant and a Fellow in the Life Management Institute.

He is responsible for fixed income credit analysis in the Business Services, Energy, Supermarkets, Technology, Telecom, Transportation and Utilities industries. Prior to joining Oppenheimer Investment Management, Mr. Burrell was a Senior Securities Analyst with 40|86 Advisors, Inc. Mr. Burrell holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Indiana University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Oregon State University. He is also a registered Professional Engineer in Oregon and California.
